If I'm right in assuming Blast is PoA, a targeted rollback COULD be done which essentially just refunds depositors from the exploiter's wallet. I dont think Blast is going for decentralization tbh. It's a degen gaming chain. I'd support a targeted rollback if it didn't rollback/affect legit txs during that time.

A rollback is not the best option as you would erase other users legit activity. A invalid state transition that transfers ETH from hackers wallet to safe wallet should be the best option.

haven't followed it... was it a coding issue due to Blast or the contract built upon the top of Blast? 60 mil ? / TVL question of what the impact is long term... will be watching. I haven't touched blast too busy to be everywhere.

They kind of have to leave it the way it is, if not it ruins the credibility of the project. It's not like they can rollback just those transactions, the whole chain gets rolled back so imagine how many TXNs that voids & what effects that has on the ecosystem. Let the authorities handle the Hackers, not the Devs. 🤓
