More or less what I'd expect as well. Assuming the change does require a hard fork?

A hard fork might happen due to conflicting interests among Bitcoin miners who believe that "BTC is not ETH, developers' opinions don't matter." Let's wait and see.

There is now controversy among various parties that is difficult to reconcile. Many miners will support developers, while others will opt for a hard fork to protect their interests, possibly already preparing with support from the inscriptions and BRC20 community.
