there are alot of terrible takes. but tbh if you actually look in the weeds, and from interviews from other musicians and artists from this time period, this take has a lot more substance than you would think.

"the Beatles weren't technically skilled" is a take at absolute fucking zero because the Beatles themselves told people they had no proper musical training and that's probably part of why they took off in popularity by doing things differently also probably one of those situations where further cultural development makes influential work seem trite because it's been redone and built on so much since that what was once fresh and interesting seems like dreck by contemporary standards
