We’re in the age of no-agency conspiracy. Something good and remarkable happened 60 years ago? Psyop. How it could it not be? After all, all I can do is consume and post - anything else must have been engineered by shadowy puppet masters https://x.com/milky_selena/status/1807710471933284578?s=46&t=Yy6048FIfLRlntFA3yXpnw

"the Beatles weren't technically skilled" is a take at absolute fucking zero because the Beatles themselves told people they had no proper musical training and that's probably part of why they took off in popularity by doing things differently also probably one of those situations where further cultural development makes influential work seem trite because it's been redone and built on so much since that what was once fresh and interesting seems like dreck by contemporary standards

most inconceivable interview to me was how they talked about just bombing around London learning INDIVIDUAL CHORDS from different people willing to teach them not sure if this was just how hard it was to find information at that time or how random the Beatles approach to learning to play was

the Beatles were as technically trained as any other popular act of their time: Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, The Crickets, Elvis etc. - all were self taught to some degree, none went to conservatories. OP’s thread is only sensical in a retrograde, everything that succeeded is a conspiracy framework. Lame !
