This is a really fun question. I've enjoyed frames v1 and now agents because it's pretty headless so faster for me to experiment. Limits what I can do sure but I'm here to play in that constrained space. And what I learned from past experiments here is that the feed is the attention fountain of life (the genius of tipping is it propagates the "brand" all over the feed). When building frames I learned that a frame without a "share" action at the end is a huge missed opportunity. You need to drive engagement in the feed and propagate the frame. So if I'm starting in the feed and ending up back in the feed I'd prefer to experiment entirely in the feed (for now).

why make one if you can do both? agent brings up the right frame for the job. unless you deposit funds to the agent like bankr transactions are way easier in frames. Bankr uses Frames for inital deposit as it's way easier with user having a wallet connected -> deposit -> use bankr

An Agent inside of frame 2.0 would be a better interface then a slow to reply bot.

Agents on FC require the api and use compute units which rack up quick if polling. Frames do not

Serious answer: My opinion of thumb is protocols over platforms, agent over services But platforms provide protocol embodiment for subsets of users, services provide agent embodiment for subsets of behaviors If you want to embody behaviors, frame is at least a design tool and deliverable
