These are & are not circle packing? I was playing around with distributing points using variable Poisson disk sampling, creating Voronoi diagrams from those sites, then fitting the largest circle in each cell. Some cells randomly left empty. 2 layers with transparency. Hope u like them.

Oh nice. I've been veerrry curious about three.js myself. Just haven't set aside the time to pick it up yet! How is it going learning it?
