No. And I'm also not a capitalist. Both are 20th century ideologies. (And they are words that have been stretched and abused to the point of meaninglessness: remember, in the 1990s, Microsoft called Linux "communist": https://www.theregister.com/2000/07/31/ms_ballmer_linux_is_communism/ ) I support freedom, global equality of opportunity, kindness and cooperation, human welfare and progress. These are timeless principles. The question is how to use the tools we have available to achieve these values in the context of the 21st century. I've written at length about the kinds of mechanisms I personally support, but I definitely do not think that I am the only source of good ideas, I think figuring out the best approach is a shared project of both thinking and also increasingly real world experimentation.

I like a lot about Venice AI: 1) It's a strong bet on open-source AI and commoditizing models 2) Instead of a pay-per-request model for API access, it uses staking the VVV token to access inferenceā€”which incentivizes holding it. If you need more inference, you can buy more tokens to stake, and you'll even earn more VVV emissions while using the compute resources 3) The 7-day cooldown period for unstaking helps reduce market volatility and fosters long-term commitment 4) Compute and energy are still the main long-term constraints. As AI agents market grows, the price of VVV should followā€”giving the Venice team more liquidity to invest capex or secure better compute resources at improved rates. 5) It's implicitly long Base & Farcaster given the targeted airdrop 6) Voorhees is a post-economic crypto OG and missionary, so he's as long-term oriented as possible
