Some days I question what I’m even doing in this space. I believe that the tech itself is neutral. But turns out the only real well proven use case is speculation, the capital is excessive venture funding, and the core demographic is mid 20s male libertarians. What keeps you going? What are you optimistic about?

Tech is never neutral. It's a tool. It's the fallacy of the defense industry to keep on saying a gun is a neutral tool as it has no concious and depends on the operator. Thats bullshit. A gun is a tool with a purpose to kill a lifeform, its not neutral per design. Less drastic: Blockchain tech. It's not neutral.

2/x It's designed for a or multiple purposes. Technology designed to redistribute wealth from the many to the few via giving large capital preference in operation over small capital will always just do that, no matter the operator. It's all our duty to give tech the purpose it needs to support us...
