Some days I question what I’m even doing in this space. I believe that the tech itself is neutral. But turns out the only real well proven use case is speculation, the capital is excessive venture funding, and the core demographic is mid 20s male libertarians. What keeps you going? What are you optimistic about?

IMO people get hung up on "speculation" and don't see the actual use cases past it because everything in life involved some amount of speculation: - Bread is on sale today? I'll buy two - Looks like it might rain on Sunday, so let's go to the beach today - Let's pivot to AI - They sound crazy, better swipe left

I don't see this as true (maybe just my POV), but I wouldn't be upset if it was. I lost a lot (like a lot) of buddies to the alt-right pipeline, and alienation/disenfranchisememt is the common thread among all of them. This is a place where those dudes can get paid and make friends. That alone can shift the tide.

Tech is never neutral. It's a tool. It's the fallacy of the defense industry to keep on saying a gun is a neutral tool as it has no concious and depends on the operator. Thats bullshit. A gun is a tool with a purpose to kill a lifeform, its not neutral per design. Less drastic: Blockchain tech. It's not neutral.

mid 20s male libertarians is a good population subgroup to propel into wealth imo - can do more for political and economic freedom around the world than anybody else can

Im optimistic about me. Which sounds really shitty, but let me just say that I’m working to make content for @degenduckynft that aims to capitalize on the next generation but also gaming+education as a whole.
