after this experience, i reached out 1:1 to a mix of 30 non-crypto people — tech-forward engineers, founders, execs. 85% regarded crypto + blockchain as different. they value blockchain, not crypto. one even said, "when i hear crypto, i immediately think "scam". and people think memecoins will solve our PR issue?

👀 Edward Snowden called the Solana blockchain overly centralized. According to the former CIA employee, Solana centralizes everything. And once a country starts interfering, control over the system will be easily taken away. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is designed with the assumption of a worst-case scenario. If developers don’t design their service to be decentralized at the protocol level, they will face the same situation as Telegram.

this morning once again my phone alarm didn’t ring 👿 I was already awake and waited for it to ring—it did go off but with no sound or haptics! this only started happening proximal to the iOS 18 update 🤦🏻‍♀️ many Reddit threads later I found the issue!! here it is in case it’s useful for some reason under sound and haptics the volume bar slid to 0 AND change with buttons was toggled OFF (even tho I’ve never touched this toggle before or knew it existed) it should be ON and volume on, then go back and check all the alarms to make sure they have sound (mine had no sound for any of the alarm sound options!)
