insanely underrated that after 10y I can still open a rails codebase and know where everything is. full db schema all routes controllers models all the generators and migration scripts still work.

I sparred 12 full rounds yesterday on oculus quest 2. incredibly cathartic experience, emotional man. I quit sparring after I had a concussion 7y ago but I still train hard cause I love the sport, now I can fight again. Thrill of the fight 2 added networked multiplayer in their latest beta, it’s really good, and most of the people playing are fighters, you can tell by their movements. Incredible.

i know we all gave up on voice thanks to a decade of siri but it can be great ux for ex: compare the cognitive load using self checkout vs ordering from a human the latter is far easier – declarative and direct, zero eye hand coordination or ui to understand “double cheese with fries; pay with card” <— clean
