All shower, sink and toilet have high contention for long periods and the toilet leaves behind smells.

In Japan the toilet is in a separate and often tiny room. Top of the toilet doubles as a sink too, the water coming in to the tank flows through a tap and drains into the chamber.

we know that the cost of creation of software is in rapid freefall; this is turning software into a new form of media, where software "creators" will become the next youtubers or ig influencers. study smallbrain for example. 

the logical next conclusion is a great place for a consumer company to be is the instagram or yt/tiktok *of software* as they are to images and videos.

maybe warpcast leaning into framesv2 could make it more about being this app for the next generation of software-as-media. the crypto component provides native monetization rails for software creators. the protocol part provides auto identity/auth/social graph for the software that is created on the platform.

I am bearish on the century as a unit of time. It’s too long to plan for or reason about. 

Hardly anyone lives a full century, although many people live a half century. A half century is also about the length of one adult working life, so it’s easier to grapple with.

50 years is a much better unit for long term planning and demarcation of time, but we don’t have a common word for it.

Sometimes people call it a jubilee. That is a good word. It’s fun. Playful. Not too serious or heavy. 

A good question might be: what do you want to do during your jubilee? You’ll probably one get one. 

Or, instead of the 18th century (long, boring, too varied to be grouped together), you can say “what about the last jubilee is different from now?”

Another reason I like jubilee is because it seems to track to the “seasons” of work that I’ve observed.

Most people have four seasons:
- Apprenticeship
- Early Work
- Middle Work
- Late Work

Taken in the context of a jubilee, each season lasts about 13 years.
