My hot take is that I love tourists. Like what do you mean you’re taking selfies in the streets I walk through every day and take for granted?? They fly in just to see the view I see daily?? They remind me to be grateful to be living in a place like New York City

Japans population is aging and the economy is weak. But what if slow growth doesn’t have to be a bad thing? Our planet cannot sustain the resources for more growth anyway. Really inspired by the communities in aging Japanese towns that are experimenting with how slowed growth and local commons can provide opportunities for regenerative living.
