Tax receipts, basically the only revenue that offsets spending (and prevents deficits that add to the debt) are already likely to be lower this year, next year's receipts will be obliterated by this.

The WSJ is the only mainstream outlet to run with this important juxtaposition on the front page. Trump left Thursday to attend a golf tournament while markets reeled and dead soldiers were transferred to the US. He's been out golfing just about every weekend of his second term so far.

1. This man has no actual connection to MS13 and was barred (years ago) from being deported to El Salvador out of persecution concerns 2. The US tax payers are paying El Salvador $6m to hold these deportees for 1 year To pretend like sending him back is 'overreach' or impossible and mocking the ruling is just evil.

At what point will the public realize the emperor has no clothes? There's been nothing in the tariff announcement and strategy that has provided reassurance that Trump knows what he's doing, and a lot of data to show he's completely winging it.

Laura Loomer, who gained notoriety grifting the neo-nazi right alongside Nick Fuentes, has unfettered access to the WH and Trump, and is now able to dictate employment decisions for the NSCl. The fact that Susie Wiles didn't prevent this meeting tells us the 'adults' are certainly not in charge.

In order for Trump to apply blanket tariffs, he had to declare a 'National Emergency' due to a "large and persistent trade deficit." This is on it's face absurd, but it's made all the more absurd by the fact that Russia, who we currently have one of the greatest per capita deficits with, escaped the tariffs!

Vance ought to learn to read a court filing or confer with his own lawyers. The govt admits he should not have been sent on the plane to El Salvador. He won his case with no MS-13 ties proven and was never found guilty of a single crime in the US. He's worked and complied with annual check-ins for years. It's all BS.

I'm at a loss for words. The fact that the admin will admit they fucked up but is refusing to get him back from Bukele (who we as taxpayers are paying to keep this innocent man detained), is morally indefensible and utterly depraved. This is not a close call, there are no 'two sides' here. It's just evil.

So the government, when push comes to shove, couldn't offer any sufficient evidence of TdA ties for a detained couple. And we're supposed to believe them that everyone shipped to El Salvador has conclusive TdA ties? You have to be delusional to trust the Trump admin at this point.
