Anyone here know whether transaction wrappers to collect taxes would be feasible? As more economic activity moves onchain, the gov is bound to get more insistent about getting its cut. Would love to hear thoughts about how that might happen

this has always been such an interesting & under-explored topic area! I'm not 100% sure how it might work, but I do know that programmable tax collection will likely look very different for different transactional environments: i.e. permissioned (where the identity of the individual is known) vs. permissionless systems

steelman against my arg is that if we're serious about our duty as citizens we would write them ourselves absolutely feasible for me to send every taxable event i incur through a 0xSplits contract and continually fund a taxes wallet in stables there's just somehow greater incentive for govt to do that than me y'know?
