people are calling Vana "the Robin Hood of data" because they're enabling end-users to liberate their personal data from walled gardens and use it to train a number of AI models within Vana's network. but some big tech companies, like Reddit, are already pushing back, claiming that Vana is "'exploiting' [their] data export system, which is designed to comply with data privacy regulations like the GDPR and California Consumer Privacy Act." idk...what do you all think? true decentralization is about more than just decentralizing the stack. it's about the distribution of power, which means decentralizing the human/social elements of the entire ecosystem as well. so if the governance and the economics are not also decentralized, be wary.
