These days, it feels like 24 hours isn’t enough, with so much to juggle. Before marriage, I took pride in carving out “me” time. I would always find moments to be alone, deeply immersed in a book I wanted to finish, or indulging in one of my many beauty sleeps.
But since getting married and having a baby, that “me time” seems to have vanished. Between work, online hustles, and taking care of my home, there’s barely enough time for myself.
That’s why I’ve set a bedtime schedule and put my phone on DND every night at 10 pm. When the notification pops up, I drop my phone—no matter what I’m doing—and dedicate the next 30 minutes planning for the next day before hitting the bed.
I’ve also made weekends strictly for family. I stay away from any online hustles to ensure I have enough time for them and for myself. These little adjustments help me stay balanced. 1 reply
