These days, it feels like 24 hours isnā€™t enough, with so much to juggle. Before marriage, I took pride in carving out ā€œmeā€ time. I would always find moments to be alone, deeply immersed in a book I wanted to finish, or indulging in one of my many beauty sleeps. But since getting married and having a baby, that ā€œme timeā€ seems to have vanished. Between work, online hustles, and taking care of my home, thereā€™s barely enough time for myself. Thatā€™s why Iā€™ve set a bedtime schedule and put my phone on DND every night at 10 pm. When the notification pops up, I drop my phoneā€”no matter what Iā€™m doingā€”and dedicate the next 30 minutes planning for the next day before hitting the bed. Iā€™ve also made weekends strictly for family. I stay away from any online hustles to ensure I have enough time for them and for myself. These little adjustments help me stay balanced.
