Another fact: the stakes are high for whoever manages to get the social layer. HOWEVER!!!! stakes are not that high for whoever gets a crypto native audience - we are not competing for it. 
Bluesky is onboarding an average of 900k users per month. Farcaster and Lens are so small. This "feud" is imaginary.

Pretty reasonable take tbh

VCs keep funding infrastructure because the TAM of crypto consumer is not yet "venture scale"

FC vs Lens is a sideshow and the goal for either platform should be to grow top of funnel

Still unclear to me why they need to focus on crypto at all. Good social products are good social products, full stop.

Is it though? Crypto users generally don't produce "good content" vs. how TikTok focused on teenage girls who were able to create entertaining dance trends that carried their platform in the early days

Why does the tech have to be discussed at all?

No one cares what database Twitter uses

At scale, content needs to be “purely” entertaining because it’s separated from community

The reason to go after a crypto audience now is:
1) we’re not at scale and this new tech isn’t palatable to generalized audiences 
2) the community here accepts the tech and also wants to consume each others’ content
