Yeah I think sunglasses are good too but impractical to wear all the time (I have the Meta Ray-Bans and love them)

It's not obvious yet and will take a few more iterations but I think this next wave of wearables will be focused on providing additional context (sight, sound, sensors, etc) that LLMs can incorporate

Phone will likely still be the primary interface, need a touchscreen to display information and interact, voice UX is too limited and clunky

Really been enjoying the Meta Ray-Bans lately, need to wear them more often, sometimes I wish I got the clear to make them more practical vs. the sunglasses

Being able to easily capture photos and videos + ask an assistant questions with context of what I’m looking at and where I am + listening to music and taking calls is pretty awesome

Agreed, it’s becoming increasingly clear to me that something like them will be the next major form factor

such a good product. I mostly only used them to record zipping around thailand on the back of grab motorcycles but realized I accidentally packed them for denver so this post is inspiring me to take them out again

can't wait to try orion—I think if done right it could wake apple tf up like chatgpt did to google

Are they really good for taking calls? And do you find these to work better than taking calls on AirPods? 

fyi I’m always on the lookout for the best way to take calls unencumbered
