What would have been the implications for automation of such a business that has run manually for so long? I mean, asides the other red flags you spotted during your due diligence. 

And are you considering building a MoR business from ground up?

If I was ever going to pursue a venture-backed business again (which is unlikely), I’d consider a crypto payments MoR service as one of the top contenders.

Re 1 - I'd go trad VC route if the existing market was big enough (in crypto it isn't). I think a lot about Anu's One Round Wonder, think a 10X off of a 250k-500k round is p doable, so I still think about that as a route.
