i've seen some really nice builds with pallets actually! just gotta be careful you're not getting ones treated with certain chemicals

i actually think the hardest (and most expensive) part of this is the cushion covers, getting a perfect box and corners isn't the easiest and it can usually cost $500-800 for quality upholstery fabric if you're doing an entire couch including the frame
