This is what I'm thinking. It's _fine_ but also perfectly timed. If it came out today, wouldn't have nearly the cultural footprint.

While I love it, (even the dodgy third season) I think it was a product of a particular time when the world ‘needed it’. So if come to it now it perhaps can’t match the hype without that context

Idk if it's mid, but imo it's very niche audience, only for americans and brits well versed in sports mixed with pop culture
