This is simply not true. Initial offense operation was meant to capture Kyiv and put puppet government in charge. See https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/interactive/2022/kyiv-battle-ukraine-survival/ This conflict is not some quarrel over territory, it's about Ukraine's existence as a sovereign state.

36 reporting in. Cons: body start to show ageing, metabolism slows down, easier to get an injury, less energy, occasional existential dread. Pros: you start to see things in perspective through your experiences and life lessons. Maturity/wisdom starts to build up. Better financially.
