Currently writing a three-page letter to my 2yo (for when he's older) to celebrate the end of his year at Nusery School. Parents who have done this before, anything you're really happy you wrote about? Or wish you had written about? (mostly done, just looking for anything I might have missed)

Do it every year if you can. My parents wrote me letters (almost) every year, sometimes about our family, sometimes about current events. My mom wrote me a letter about Rwanda and how angry she was with Clinton. My dad wrote me a letter about deciding to join a startup in '96. So cool to read.

This is beautiful advice. I need to think more about writing about current events...they feel mundane in the moment but must be super cool to see later on.
