Currently writing a three-page letter to my 2yo (for when he's older) to celebrate the end of his year at Nusery School. Parents who have done this before, anything you're really happy you wrote about? Or wish you had written about? (mostly done, just looking for anything I might have missed)

Do it every year if you can. My parents wrote me letters (almost) every year, sometimes about our family, sometimes about current events. My mom wrote me a letter about Rwanda and how angry she was with Clinton. My dad wrote me a letter about deciding to join a startup in '96. So cool to read.

I am doing it as an ongoing journal, whenever he isn't there for a longer time and I start to miss him really badly. Included some pictures he won't see in any albums (ultrasound) and a sealed letter from his mom and me from before he was born! Plan is to give to him on his 16th or 18th birthday.
