do you think it’s rude to not say good morning at work if someone says it to you? i love human interaction and i feel like a lil gm makes such a difference i always say good morning when i arrive at training most times people dont reply because they’re either tired or locked in it makes me feel like i have been marked as spam and under the fold in the replies i’m guessing most athletes in individual sports don’t mind it being this it this way but i’m curious what yall think idk i just want to have a little chat and giggle before training begins i wish @swampnet was in my group

very cultural. I get 80%+ back while living in the US, ~50% in Okinawa, and perhaps ~30% in Tokyo.

This imo, additionally the context is super important. If someone is focusing on something I understand them not replying. Personally I would still make an effort to mindlessly at least parrot it back to acknowledge that I heard you but I'm in another place mentally, but I understand some people might just want to keep focusing on the thing in front of them.
