I actually like that there’s no beef on Warpcast; the people are much more civilized. The conflict-driven engagement model of other social media platforms had a profoundly negative social effect. It’s more constructive to incentivize people to converse with respect while steering clear of meltdowns and dunking.

The longer this lasts the happier I am. It's a joy to build here, both tools and relationships. You don't have to be an idealist to know that we don't need more meltdowns and dunking in our lives.

Truly engaging with good faith in arguments is a challenge, and as a society I think we've mostly failed in being able to do so.

Given that, I'll take a builder's paradise over a dunkfest any day of the week.
