Reality is almost always more like “if you can generate attention then they will come”

Farcaster/Warpcast might be a rare exception.

Definitely, but the attention for this most recent wave seems very much tied to the building/implementation of Frames, + 3 years of building before that

Well, they also generated attention. People still have to find you, so if you only build they might not come in time.

I think the more appropriate saying would be "If they come and you're coincidentally building, they might stay"

What do u think has made farcast/warpcast different from others who have tried to make web3 social platforms?
