I used to believe in “if you build it they will come”

Reality is almost always more like “if you can generate attention then they will come”

Farcaster/Warpcast might be a rare exception.

They built it, and here we are 🤷

Well, they also generated attention. People still have to find you, so if you only build they might not come in time.

It definetly helps if there is already a lot built by the time people discover your product. So it's building first, then attention. And I much prefer that over attention first and building later.

Definitely, but the attention for this most recent wave seems very much tied to the building/implementation of Frames, + 3 years of building before that
