One thing I've noticed about Claude 3.7 Sonnet is how quickly I hit usage limits

Maybe it's because I'm using it in a project that has a lot of context, but this never happened with 3.5

Anyone else noticing the same thing?

Yeah that's a good point. I'm mainly talking about limits in the Claude web app, which I'm mainly using for non-coding stuff

I don't think I've ever hit a limit of any kind using Cursor - even on days when I'm sitting in it for 8 hours straight

Cursor makes this invisible. I haven’t hit excess charges yet.

 I’m guessing they’re partnered with anthropic.

I haven't tried Claude Code yet, but I've seen people spending $30/day on it - pretty wild

I'd sometimes use Claude Workbench when I'd hit limits with 3.5, but seems like I may run into the same issue earlier with 3.7

Yes absolutely. It's an amazing model. If you use the API you absolutely chew through your credits.

Yes this is happening to me too and I’m sad because I wish I could pay for a higher tier version w/ 5x the usage limits.

i got rate limited on 3.5 a multiple times a day on a bad day. Cursor was a great idea
