anyone else not finish this book? concept was cool at the beginning and the prose was nice but it just seemed repetitive to me after 100 pages

I finished it. The pattern persists through the end. I didn't love it. I had it as an audiobook however.

Loved it but I also tend to go into power through mode when reading sci fi and just let the momentum carry me

Yep, exact same. It’s been 5 or 6 years since I put it down and I haven’t thought about it since.
