anyone else not finish this book? concept was cool at the beginning and the prose was nice but it just seemed repetitive to me after 100 pages

I finished it. The pattern persists through the end. I didn't love it. I had it as an audiobook however.

Just to elaborate, you'll probably love it if "future punk Romeo & Juliet" hooks you. The time war concept got me in the door but this is a romance story.
