I’m really sorry to hear that. I would have given you a bunch of suggestions. The main thing about classical is understanding what genre is your favorite: solo piano, solo instrument, vocal, symphonies, avant garde Lemme know if you need some reccs to help redeem your low quality experience

Before you leave - Dvorak, and Mahler are breathtaking. The New World Symphony and Mahler 's Fifth are pretty epic (you easily could have stumbled upon them) and I'd highly recommend.
