Not sure where you’re going with this. There are already plenty of exclusive social apps — monetising their users’ identity and social graph in the same way non-exclusive apps do

Also …. ephemeral social apps are coming. The bold prediction will be an app that spins up and is used by 100 million people during a 48 hour period and then it goes away. These sorts of apps will make money on crypto based micro transactions that’s a natural part of using the app. FC social graph FTW
