One of the founders (in his 50s) I worked for always used the eggplant 🍆 emoji.

He was dropping it on community members' posts in discord. 

I had to tell him what it meant. 

It was an uncomfortable conversation 🤣 

He thought it just meant "good"

Me:  "I don't think we should use that emoji with new female members of the project"

Him: "Yeah I can see that now"
