Reasonable friends of mine outside of crypto are appalled, noting that he attempted murder.  

Reasonable friends of mine within crypto are celebrating.

I get the divisiveness of the dark money aspect here (the for and against). But is the murder part true?

@tldr the "free ross" movement is this generation's "hack the planet" version of the "free kevin"  from the 1990s 

The murder part is true and is regarded as an inconvenient truth b/c thought two of the six "hits" were FBI agents trying to entrap him. 

He was pardoned literally due to the unconditional support of the libertarian movement for Trump this past election. 

I guess when you control the House, executive branch, and judicial system, you can shape policy however you see fit. 

It certainly feels like we're approaching a technocratic plutocracy every day in 2025.
