agree the directional shift is happening. hot take: i think "send gift" has a much more humane feel to it than "mint". language is important particularly in shaping consumer experiences.

+1 language is such a huge factor ! “Send a gift” “support a creator” is all directed externally towards the creator whereas “mint” feels actioned inwards, for the self. Subtle nuance makes such a difference

+1 on language being important. "send a gift" or "support a creator" often feels like tribute to me. i want to make sure creators get paid but platforms frame it in a way that doesn't make me want to. "mint" on the other hand lets creators get paid and collectors collect without having to read between the lines.
