So, I'm getting my first boost (are there more than one though?)
Gonna use the chance to introduce myself a bit.
At the moment, I am a freelance translator, mainly doing subtitles for movies and series. In the last 6 years I've translated over 6000 various assets, and this feels like one of the best jobs in the world.
I also co-own a little fast-food joint in Kaliningrad, Russia.
In the past, I was a purchasing/category manager in sportswear (Reebok), Liquors and Tobacco (Heinemann Duty free), and e-commerce (Inditex).
I also enjoy being a father of two wonderful girls, 5 and 10 yo.
And, naturally, I have a certain interest in crypto and web3, otherwise I just wouldn't cast this here on FC.

That was an interesting read on your motivation to get into translating! I can empathize with the frustration of seeing bad translations, especially when you know what it should actually be!
