I feel like I've never been able to get the seasoning to the level where they are non-stick enough. Tips other than a lot of use and proper care?

I mean, cook bacon every day. 😜 Light coat of high smoke point oil and bake it in the oven on 375 for 45 minutes. That will season well.

I like avocado oil to cook with (high smoke point, neutral flavor), and have used grapeseed oil in the past to season, but I now use buzzywax https://warpcast.com/yousufhaque.eth/0x013610ca

I cook with avocado oil as well when I need a neutral taste, but for some things nothing beats animal fat.

Interesting. My local game meat place has various animal fats. Honestly it’s rough to beat beef tallow. That’s what they used to cook McDonald’s fries in when they tasted much better. https://bearbrookgamemeats.com
