I mean, cook bacon every day. π Light coat of high smoke point oil and bake it in the oven on 375 for 45 minutes. That will season well.

Yeah, my brother used to hand forge carbon steel pans and this was basically how they would pre-season the pans. For home he still recommends both methods, daily bacon and an oven :)
