Pastrami is overrated imo. But it massively depends on where you get it. One pastrami can taste very different from another. If you're ever in NYC, hit up Katz deli. So fkin good. I get the corned beef tbh but pastrami also excellent.

In Montreal, we have our own variation called โ€œsmoked meatโ€ and in my opinion itโ€™s better. Though theyโ€™re similar enough if a person doesnโ€™t like one I doubt theyโ€™d like the other

Ah pastrami one of my faves. Not for everyone (sometimes kind of fatty). My favorite is the pastrami reuben from Brent's Deli in Northridge, CA. Also one in Westlake
