@kyle
Been playing with Solana a lot more lately, but price quotes are sluggish, 50% of my trades fail, trades take ~15 seconds to complete, and I have to break my trades up into much smaller increments to get them through. Any tips on how to get a better experience here? Moved my slippage up to 1% and that helped.

.5-1% is desired slippage in bear market, similar to bull market eth gas prices you'll be better off increasing slippage to 10-15% for shitters but even 1-5% is fine for tokens with enough liq like wif, boden, etc. Also heavily depends on the interface you're using compared to bots imo!

jup.ag should be your main frontend but creating multiple DCA orders also helps a lot, same with using bots like @TrojanOnSolana (ref link https://t.me/odysseus_trojanbot?start=r-yohangglobal) Current fees I use are: - priority fee: 0.01 - mev tip: 0.005 - jup slippage: 1-2% - tg bot slippage: 10-15%

Personally speaking I don't think you should care about slippage being high/low, just about having fast entries/exits. Either you're heavily shitcoining (slippage needs to be high) or your building swing positions (sol/wif/boden, slippage can be low). Both plans should have their own settings to make this easier!

This is also where having multiple accounts set up for your desired plan will help, ie your hardware wallet has larger liq coins and trades on jup with _ slippage, while your hot wallet(s)/tg bots are in the trenches with >_ slippage
