Maybe we could encourage people to cast more about what their bookish interests are and what kind of reader they are.

It may feel out off place because right now the focus is very much on the books themselves, but even recommendations can become more meaningful when you know who is behind the recommendation.

Hi I am yesyes. My interests in books change from time to time. I don't read often but I try my best to read as much as I can. Used to read goosebumps,Nancy drew, hardy boys, etc when I was growing up. 

I was focused a bit on classical literature these past years(tolstoy,dosto, chekov,etc)

Blockchain data analyst. Interested in data science and blockchain.

My this year's goal is to focus on non-fictions(both classical and new). Currently reading Nietzsche.  I like his hyperbolic/grand writing style even though he can be kind of an idiot at times
