My practitioner just said try for an 18 hr fast first time. If I can go 24, great. 

She said eat an early dinner like 5, skip breakfast.  Eat 11am or later 

I also set a timer on my phone for 18 hrs so I can always be reminded of how much to go when I look at my locked phone.  It also reminds me I’m fasting 

I’m still drinking water. 

So at 18h I’ll see if I can just wait another 6 before eating

that's what ended up happening - I did stop eating at 5, but then it was birthday night and it would have been offensive not to take a piece of cake.  So that reset me at 8pm

Then nothing but water until now, and I'm at 19hr and will wait until dinner w/wife tonight

next time, I'll do 24+ hr w/water.

Then I'll see about a 36hr and work up to 3 day.

Early dinners are dangerous because you got the whole night for snacking. If I fast then ist dinner as normal (8 or 9pm), no breakfast. Lock down and work until exhausted at 2pm. Then raid the fridge before the kids are back from school
