The thing that saddens me is hearing good people from the FC ecosystem are considering tapering off their activity & drifting away b/c of the current experience here :/

Feels like there's a lot of outflow of energy and not as much return these days

I think it’s partly due to the fast flow of the stream/feed just constantly rushing along without good channels/communities to gather & interact in, as well as the fleeting nature of the posts/content meaning that the energy put in tends to somewhat rush out.

It’s also hard for new people to “find a home” & get established I think. A lot of friction to overcome

It feels like most people who do get established may do so primarily with support & help of other users/established communities so there’s definitely pathways but I think they can be difficult for most to find

I have a different experience in stream speed as it sometimes feels repetitive for me, but I totally agree with the onboarding.

I have brought people here, but it's incredible hard to find your niche.

I was lucky to have a few big names following me and therefore making connections easier.
