The thing that saddens me is hearing good people from the FC ecosystem are considering tapering off their activity & drifting away b/c of the current experience here :/

Feels like there's a lot of outflow of energy and not as much return these days

It's partly just the flow of time, attention, life. None of this is static. There will always be an ebb and a flow. It's sad but also part of the journey

Even our internal systems operate in this way... in an attempt to both grow onwards, react to environment, and maintain homeostatis

I think it’s partly due to the fast flow of the stream/feed just constantly rushing along without good channels/communities to gather & interact in, as well as the fleeting nature of the posts/content meaning that the energy put in tends to somewhat rush out.

It’s also hard for new people to “find a home” & get established I think. A lot of friction to overcome
