I think for people that are more “web 2” focused they really have to buy into the idea that the future is onchain and this still takes time but agree

Do thoughtful things onchain that can compound over time. 

This includes getting an ENS, buying reputable NFTs that can augment your own brand identity, posting thoughtful content via blockchain-based platforms, contributing to DAO governance, co-funding initiatives adjacent to your business, etc.

I agree I think free/cheap mints are a good way to get people to grow a community and get people engaged.
