just dawned on me why non-dev minds struggle with dev mind people. The dev goes through pain-staking tedious work, abstracting dozens of calls, states, and data. The non-dev mind presses 1 button and thinks, that's all, but what about the next thing. There is no literacy or comprehension. (reminds me of the exchange between BJ & Taleb)

Lol, sure that's true. But coming from the opposite side, the dev also never understands that a lot of processes in the real world: a) don't care about the abstraction b) take time. It's so fun living in a world where you push a commit and things change, whereas a sales cycle can take literally months.
