It’s not for everyone, but for us, it is very, very satisfying. We have made entire meals with just what we’ve grown. There’s usually enough to share with friends and neighbors. Sometimes, the neighbor kids come over to eat straight off the plant and they get more than we do! And don’t get me started on the almost overwhelming aroma of nearly ripe grapes.

Really just complicated salads. 😅 We’ve got a lot going on: Arugula, kale, lettuce, various fun types of beans and peas, pears, apples, cherries, berries, and other vegetables. The gardens are my wife’s hobby, so she does most of the work there where I tend to the trees. Have you ever gotten into gardening or growing? It’s pretty easy to get started even without a yard depending on what you want to do.
